During a career spanning over 50 years with various roles in the Automotive Industry our founder becomes aware of a glaring issue plaguing virtually every workshop - unused parts which haven't been returned to the supplier for a credit. This can be due to a number of reasons but they all result in forgotten, dust covered parts - a deadweight burden on the business.

Following his retirement in 2021 our founder decided to try & do something to help workshops overcome their deadweight parts issue and began working on a safe platform form for Trade Professionals to sell unwanted parts & locate hard to find often discontinued parts they need. DeadW8 Australia was born!

Version 1 of www.deadw8.au is launched for Mechanics, Panel Beaters & Auto Electricians. Membership passes 50 in the first month after launching.

After numerous requests DeadW8 Australia is expanded to include Plumbers, Locksmiths & Electricians faced with the burden of deadweight stock.

Membership continues to grow, surging past 250

Work begins on redesigning anew, improved www.deadw8.au to cater for the rapidly growing Membership base and daily website visitors.

DeadW8 Australia nominated for APAC Insider Australia Enterprise Awards 2024 in Best Used Automobile Parts Retail Platform Category

DeadW8 Australia becomes a supplier of MCA Suspension products.

Following a number of successful promotions & a billboard advertising campaign Membership passes 450.

Discussions begin with a marketing company to develop a magazine, radio & TV advertising campaign to begin in early 2024.

Membership at end of 2023 approaches 500. DeadW8 Australia now averaging over 800 views across Australia each day

DeadW8 Australia becomes a supplier of the MAXTEEL range of Ultimate Tool Storage Solutions.

Target set of 1,000 members by March 31st 2024. Magazine advertising campaign launching mid January to help achieve this target. Radio & TV advertising campaigns to start in 1st Quarter with aim of achieving 5,000 members by end of 2024.
